First Cycle

This cycle (2025 cycle) was held in academic partnership with Tishk International University in Erbil. In this cycle, 56 projects entered the competition from various Iraqi universities: 14 from the University of Baghdad, 10 from the University of Technology in Baghdad, 5 from the University of Basra, 7 from the University of Kufa, 8 from the University of Karbala, 3 from the University of Wasit, 2 from the University of Dohuk, 2 from the University of Mosul, and one project each from the University of Babylon, Diyala University, Koya University, Tishk International University, and the Catholic University in Erbil. The shortlist included 18 projects, after which the top 10 projects were announced, comprising the honorable mention projects and the top three winning projects.
