Majaz Architectural Competitions were launched in 2025 as a competition among architecture students graduating from Iraqi universities. This initiative brings together graduation projects from architectural departments across Iraqi universities. The competition aims to serve as a motivator for outstanding students and one of the most important foundations for a strong start to their careers at the highest professional levels. The competition also seeks to advance the trajectory of architecture in Iraq by encouraging the design of buildings that respect their context and surrounding environment.

The competition is open to final-year students from all architectural departments in Iraq, and represents an opportunity for students, their supervisors, and departments alike to compete and demonstrate their design capabilities and skills.
